Admissions & Enrollment Information

The University of Cagayan Valley welcomes applicants pursuing advanced academic and professional studies. This section provides the general admissions pathway for prospective students under the University’s higher education programs.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Applicants must complete the standard admissions and enrolment process, which generally includes:

  • Online application through the UCV admissions portal
  • Program screening and subject advisement with the Dean’s Office
  • Required interview, testing, or evaluation (if applicable)
  • Submission of complete documentary requirements to the Registrar’s Office
  • Assessment and encoding of enrolment details
  • Payment of fees at the Cashier’s Office
  • Final confirmation of official enrolment

Enrolment Procedure and Requirements Checklist for Old-Student Enrollees

Step 1. Dean (Ground floor, JVP Building) 

  • See the Dean for subject advisement
  • Present checklist (Evaluation Form)
  • Dean signs Tentative Registration Form
  • Advise student to undergo HEPA B Screening (COH, HRM & SOC only)

Step 2. Registrar’s Office (2nd floor, JVP Building) 

  • Present tentative registration form duly signed by the Dean for encoding and assessment of fees

Step 3. Finance Office (2nd floor, JVP Building) 

  • Proceed to UCV Shop table (Ground Floor, JVP Bldg.) for paraphernalia assessment (ID, uniforms, etc.)
  • Pay registration fee at Cashier’s Office or partner banks only
  • Full payment qualifies for discount
  • Proceed to University Shop (Greyhounds Gymnasium) to claim paraphernalia

Step 4. Student Affairs Office (2nd floor, MVVH Building) 

  • Scholars must report to scholarship coordinator for advisement

Note: Changing, dropping, or adding of subjects is only allowed at the start of classes.

Enrolment Procedure and Requirements Checklist for New Students, Transferees, and Cross-Enrollees

Step 1. Online Registration 

  • Register at: portal.ucv.edu.ph
  • Click “NEW STUDENT”
  • Log in using username and password
  • Click “ENROLLMENT”
  • Fill out form and click “SUBMIT”

Step 2. Guidance Center (Room 201, MVP Building) 

  • Personal interview
  • Submit:
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • 1 pc. 2×2 colored photo
    • Barangay Clearance (transferee only)
    • Cross-enrollee: photo + enrollment permit copy

Step 3. Health Director (Ground floor, New Lab Building) 

  • HEPA B screening for:
    • Incoming First Year
    • Transferees (BSCrim, BSHM, BSN, BSM only)
  • Cross-enrollees skip Step 2

Step 4. Dean (Ground floor, JVP Building) 

  • Subject advisement
  • Dean signs tentative registration form
  • Cross-enrollee must present permit

Step 5. Registrar’s Office (Second floor, JVP Building) 

Submit:

  • Form 138 (High School Card)
  • Honorable Dismissal (transferee only)
  • Certified copy of subjects taken (transferee only)
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • 1 pc. 2×2 ID photo
  • Cross-enrollment permit (if applicable)
  • Submit signed tentative registration for encoding and assessment

Step 6. Finance Office (Second floor, JVP Building) 

  • Paraphernalia assessment (test booklet, ID, uniforms, etc.)
  • Pay registration fee at Cashier or partner banks
  • Full payment qualifies for discount
  • Claim paraphernalia at University Shop (Greyhounds Gymnasium)

Step 7. Student Affairs Office (Second floor, MVVH Building) 

  • Secure schedule for orientation
  • Scholars must report for advisement

Note: Subject changes, additions, or dropping are only allowed at the start of classes.

Application Processing Time & Schedule of Enrollment

Processing time may vary depending on the completeness of requirements and volume of applications received.

Schedules are officially released by the Office of the Registrar of the University of Cagayan Valley.

Summer 2026

  • All Levels: May 25 – 30, 2026
  • Classes Begin: June 1, 2026

First Semester AY 2026–2027

Graduate Programs & College of Law

  • Enrollment Period: June 8 – July 18, 2026
  • Classes Begin: July 20, 2026

Undergraduate Programs

  • First Year: April 1 – July 18, 2026
  • Second Year: June 1 – 10, 2026
  • Third Year: June 11 – 20, 2026
  • Fourth Year: June 22 – July 4, 2026
  • Late Enrollees / Irregular Students / Transferees: July 6 – 18, 2026
  • Classes Begin: July 20, 2026
